This mom who lost 130 pounds had the BEST thing to say about weighing yourself
Losing weight in a way that is both healthy for your body and mind can be extremely challenging. If you’re like us, you may have gone through phases of yo-yo dieting, feelings of body shame, and even periods where you were ultimately just way too fixated on the number on the scale (again, we’ve BEEN THERE).
Which is why we were so incredibly thrilled to read an Insta post from a woman named Kassidy Linde, who recently lost 130 pounds and documented her journey through social media. Her goal was simply to appreciate her body and feel good about herself, and to show her young daughter that anyone can achieve their goals if they put their mind to it.
Linde makes it clear that the journey was hard (like, very hard), but said that she made it a priority to stay positive, even on the hardest days.
And when it comes to weighing herself, she had this to say:
SO MUCH YES! We appreciate Linde’s honesty, because we’ve all either struggled like this or have known someone who has. And she even challenges others to join her, which we totally love.
