While it sounds like doing something that’ll burn an extra 50 calories throughout the day isn’t really worth doing, we promise you, it is! And in this case, making this *one* tweak to your coffee order could help you keep off a few pounds a year.
Rutgers University conducted a study in which they tracked “regular” and “lite” latte drinkers at a Dunkin’ Donuts over a period of a few weeks. In the next part of the experiment, when customers ordered a latte, Dunkin’ employees asked if they wanted to make it a “lite” latte.
Over 50% of customers actually ordered a “lite” latte when asked, and while that doesn’t really sound like that big of a deal, here’s why it is.
And honestly, you probably won’t even be able to tell that you’re not drinking a full-sugar, full-fat latte! Plus, even if you’re not trying to lose weight, you can use this trick to balance out indulging in other foods, like PIZZA and GRILLED CHEESE SANDWICHES.
