Ashley Graham is loving who she is and that’s that! The model has decided that trying to lose weight now would be “disloyal” to who she is.

It wasn’t always this way for the model and businesswoman. She admitted to British Vogue – her first Vogue cover — that she struggled with the desire to be thinner in the past.

“Do I sometimes wish I were thinner? God, in the old days, absolutely I did, but now I feel that to lose weight would be disloyal to myself. A lot of who I am is connected to my size, and I am so happy with who I am,” she said.

Ever since becoming the first plus-size model on the cover of Sports Illustrated‘s Swimsuit Issue, Ashley has been outspoken about the need for varied body sizes in the industry, and she’s constantly encouraging her fans to love the skin they’re in.

She’s paving her own way, that’s for sure — she’s graced numerous magazine covers and has launched her own lingerie line for Addition Elle in Canada.

Ashley acknowledges that her hard work has paid off, but she isn’t going anywhere just yet!

“Look, I hit the beauty jackpot — I get it — but that’s not enough. You’ve got to have more to have longevity in this business. It’s always been ‘OK, so what can I do now?’” she explained.

Yasss, Ashley! Keep slaying, girl.
