Way too excited over the first picture from the set of "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2"
Get ready, because soon our favorite Guardians of the Galaxy are going to dance their way back into our hearts. The sequel to the movie that gave us super jacked Chris Pratt is set to begin filming the sequel — appropriate titled, Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 2 — in a few short weeks, so the cast and crew have started assembling down in Atlanta. Everyone’s returning back for this second outing, and director James Gunn just shared what we’ll call the first ~unofficial~ cast picture.
Posting to Facebook, Gunn poses with his all-star cast, including Pratt, Zoe Salanda, Dave Bautista, and Sean Gunn (director Gunn’s brother, who played Kraglin in the movie, but you might known him as Kirk from Stars Hollow). Gunn pokes a little bit of fun at the group, explaining that if you ask him, Bautista always sets the example everyone else should follow.
If this picture wasn’t enough, Gunn also did a quick little Q&A in the comment section. What we now know is that production officially starts February 11, Pratt has actually shed some muscle weight from the first movie, and that during filming, bro Sean is always on hand, and always crouching, pretending to be CGI Rocket Raccoon (voiced by Bradley Cooper).
Wish we could be a fly on this sound stage wall, to figure out what they’re really talking about and getting ready to film. Peter Quill and his whole crew need to fly back into our lives ASAP.
