As adorable as they are, babies can be kind of difficult to shop for. Trying to please a tiny human (along with the parents of said human) who can’t yet outline a dream gift wishlist is risky business. But judging by this grandpa who bought a massive bear for his granddaughter, we gather that the best approach to baby gift-giving is to go insanely big or go home.

If we’re measuring the amount of love 5-month-old Madeline Jane’s grandfather Daniel Gonzalez has for her by gift size, it’s on level ginormous. According to Madeline’s mother Sabrina Gonzalez, the baby’s grand dad went ALL out for his beloved granddaughter by purchasing her a stuffed teddy bear that’s so huge, we’re low-key expecting it to make a cameo in the Jurassic World sequel.

The Case of the Unbelievably Big Ass Bear started when Gonzalez spotted the stuffed animal at Costco where he works and joked to his daughter that he should bring one home, and baby and bear have been chillin’ like it’s NBD. Obviously they’re going to be BFFs for life.

Just when you didn’t think it could get cuter than seeing a baby chill with a giant teddy bear, there’s baby Madeline’s adorable reaction to seeing her new stuffed pal:

The photos have since gone viral, which undoubtedly means endless cool points for Grandpa. With the holidays coming up, it’ll be interesting to see how he tops a gift that turned his granddaughter into a social media sensation.
