Every year, GQ magazine hosts the Men of the Year awards. Held at the Chateau Marmont in Hollywood, the event welcomed stars like Bradley Cooper, Amy Schumer, Jon Hamm, Kylie Jenner, as well as all of the honorees (if you want to experience some serious FOMO, you can check out the pictures over here). Think of it as the corollary to People’s Sexiest Man Alive. All of our favorite dudes got together for a night recognizing the things they’re best at. The awards covered things like “Icon,” “Legend,” and “Inspiration,” and we’re totally psyched with their choices.

First and foremost, this year’s TV Personality of the Year went to James Corden, the talk show host from across the pond who has brought us hilarious moments like these.

Some totally other deserving people were among the winners as well. Lionel Richie snapped up “Icon,” Keith Richards was awarded “Legend,” and Will Ferrell, unsurprisingly, was “Comedian.”

Those guys are classics, so it was about time they got their trophies. However, there were also some newcomers, like Sam Smith winning “Circo Solo Artist” and “Vertu Breakthrough Actor” going to Jack O’Connell.

And, if you were worried that this event left out the ladies, think again. Everyone’s favorite Khaleesi, Emilia Clarke, won the title “Woman of the Year” for her hard work in the series Game of Thrones as well as movies like Dom Hemingway and Terminator Genisys.

A hearty congrats to all the winners last night! These gentlemen brought smiles, laughs, and inspiration to all of us. You can check out the full list here.
