Sometimes we’re just casually going about our day on the internet when we stumble upon something unexpectedly incredible. That is exactly what happened when we found the sculptures of Polish artist Małgorzata Chodakowska. At first glance, Chodakowska’s work, carved out of oak and finished with bronze, looks like straightforward and gorgeous statues of women. But you add water, and those elegantly crafted forms become living fountains.

She turns water into hair.

Chodakowska’s work is delicate and so very unique. While we don’t know where we’ll be able to see it next on display, thanks to the power of the internet we can see her creations come to life in the video below.
