Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice opens tomorrow, and while that’s cool and all, it’s time to start looking ahead to what’s next. Like, the Wonder Woman movie which seriously can’t get here FAST ENOUGH. It’ll mark the first time we’ve got a comic heroine in a starring role, in her own movie, and yes. Yes, yes, yes.

Diana Prince by day, Wonder Woman by night, is introduced in Batman v Superman, where we get to see a little bit of her kickass spirit. Not a whole lot, just a little. It’s basically enough to satisfy us, and then keep us begging for more. Now, thanks to Entertainment Weekly, we’ve got another glimpse at not only WW, but her amazing kickass entourage, too. Are you ready for this?

Gal Gadot is front and center as Diana, because it is her movie after all, but she’s not alone. It’s time to talk about ROBIN FREAKIN’ WRIGHT (far right) as the woman who trains Diana for battle, General Antiope. Our Robin Wright! Our Claire Underwood! Our Princess Buttercup! It feels like some long-told Robin Wright prophecy has finally come true, in which she ascends to the kickass throne. It’s about time, you know?

Also joining this amazing entourage are Connie Nielsen as Diana’s mother, Queen Hippolyta, and Lisa Loven Kongsli as Antiope’s lieutenant, Menalippe. It’s safe to assume that this above picture just launched a thousand Halloween costumes.

“To me, they shouldn’t be dressed in armor like men,” Patty Jenkins, the film’s director, explains of their costumes, “It should be different. It should be authentic and real – and appealing to women…I, as a woman, want Wonder Woman to be hot as hell, fight badass, and look great at the same time.”

Everything about the costumes, and the far-off location of these Amazon Women, Themyscira, came back to one central question, according to Jenkins: “How would I want to live that’s badass?”

Well, this image seems to answer that question with: like this. All of this. It’s impossible NOT to be excited for Wonder Woman right now, and we’ll be right here, waiting, until June 23rd 2017.
