"Will & Grace" gave Shake Shack its first drink made with wine
Leave it to Karen Walker, Will & Grace‘s wine fanatic, to usher in Shake Shack’s first alcoholic milkshake. Yes, a wine milkshake! To celebrate Will & Grace‘s return to television, Shake Shack is introducing two new milkshakes, one of which is made with Prosecco.
People reports that on September 18th, Shake Shack will add their “Will & Grace” and “Jack & Karen” milkshakes to the menu. The “Will & Grace” is a sweet and spicy pairing of cinnamon marshmallow frozen custard and Shack fudge, topped with whipped cream and cinnamon sugar. And the “Jack & Karen” consists of strawberry frozen custard and Prosecco, topped with whipped cream, rainbow sprinkles, and raspberry dust.
It’s sweet, spirited, and Karen Walker-approved.
Shake Shack and NBC expanded their partnership to include GLAAD, “a dynamic media force” aiming to “rewrite the script for LGBTQ acceptance ” and create dialogue that can lead to “cultural change,” as their site states.
For every $5.99 spent on either limited edition Will & Grace milkshake, $2 will go towards GLAAD’s initiative, which makes us very glad indeed.
Shake Shack’s Vice President of Marketing, Edwin Bragg, told HuffPost on Monday,
If you want in on a “Will & Grace” or “Jack & Karen” milkshake, here’s what you need to know: The specialty drinks will only be available September 18th through October 1st, and will only be served at select New York City and Los Angeles Shake Shack locations.
Make any travel plans you have to in order to get your hands on the milkshakes of the millennia. We’ll certainly have ours ready for Will & Grace’s September 28th premiere.
