These three-ingredient Ginger Peach Roll-Ups are giving us life
There are a million pros for those portable, yummy, fruity roll-up snacks you find at the grocery store: the sugary taste, the granular texture, and the satisfaction of peeling them off the paper and popping them into your mouth. The cons? Lots of ingredients you can’t pronounce or identify. But this recipe gives us all the yum without the yuck. And people are way less likely to make fun of you for eating kid’s snacks when they find out they’re homemade!
-1 inch of ginger
-1 tbsp of honey
Preheat oven to 170 degrees (or your oven’s lowest temperature setting).
Add ingredients to blender. Blend until smooth. Spread the mixture across a silicone baking mat, which should be about 1/8 – 1/4 thick. Bake for 6 – 8 hours.
Warning: It will be nearly impossible for you to refrain from eating the entire batch in one sitting. But if you have the will power to save some for later, they travel nicely in their little paper sleeping bags and can be shared on the playground — er, I mean, at the office — with all your friends.
