These super cheesy, ooey gooey pizza sliders will satisfy your mini food-loving soul
Looking for the perfect party snack to spice up your dinner routine? Well, these pizza sliders should prove to be not only extra cheesy but also extra delicious. Did we mention it’s extra easy to make as well?
All you need are dinner rolls, your favorite pizza toppings, and, of course, the star of the show: cheese. You can add as many or as little toppings as you like, but make sure to top each slider with our buttery garlic mixture! This recipe is not only kid-friendly, but adult-friendly as well, especially when paired with your favorite wine. (Yes, we’re drooling, too.)

DIY Pizza Sliders
9 yeast dinner rolls or slider buns, split
5 to 6 low-moisture part-skim mozzarella cheese slices
1/2 cup pizza sauce (from 1 [12-oz.] jar)
18 pepperoni slices
8 oz. whole-milk mozzarella cheese, shredded (about 2 cups)
1/4 cup unsalted butter
1 tsp. minced garlic (about 2 garlic cloves)
1/4 tsp. dried oregano
1/4 tsp. kosher salt
1 Tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese
2 Tbsp. chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley
1. Preheat oven to 400°F. Coat a 9-inch square metal baking dish with cooking spray. Place bottom halves of rolls, cut side up, in prepared dish, with edges of rolls touching. Top evenly with mozzarella slices to cover rolls completely. Spread pizza sauce evenly on mozzarella slices. Top evenly with pepperoni slices and shredded mozzarella. Cover with top halves of rolls.
2. Combine butter, garlic, oregano, and salt in a small microwaveable bowl. Microwave on MEDIUM until butter melts, about 1 minute. Brush half of butter mixture over rolls. Bake in preheated oven until golden brown and cheese is melted, about 10 minutes.
3. Remove from oven, and brush with remaining half of butter mixture. Top evenly with Parmesan, and sprinkle with parsley.
After adding pepperoni slices in Step 1, layer 3 oz. cooked and crumbled spicy Italian sausage, 1/4 cup sliced black olives, 1/4 cup chopped mixed bell peppers (red, green, and yellow), and 1/4 cup sliced cremini mushrooms. Top evenly with shredded mozzarella, and continue with recipe as directed.
Omit pizza sauce and pepperoni slices. After adding mozzarella slices in Step 1, spread mozzarella slices evenly with 3 Tbsp. basil pesto and 1/2 cup Alfredo sauce. Top evenly with shredded mozzarella, and continue with recipe as directed.
Omit mozzarella slices and pepperoni slices. After placing bottom halves of rolls in dish in Step 1, top evenly with 1 cup shredded sharp Cheddar cheese, 1/4 cup sweet barbecue sauce, and 1/2 cup shredded rotisserie chicken breast. Top evenly with shredded mozzarella, and continue with recipe as directed.
