The pumpkin spice latte gods have heard our prayers, and lucky for us, they are benevolent gods. Come this fall, you’ll be able to grab a cup of pumpkin spice goodness from your local Starbucks, as per usual, or (if you have a Keurig) make one in your very own kitchen with the coffee chain’s upcoming Pumpkin Spice Caffè Latte K-Cups (in stores this September).
Like the pumpkin spice latte itself, the K-Cups will only be available for a limited time, as a “seasonal item” — the main difference of course being that you could potentially stock up doomsday-style and get enough of the K-cups to last you through the whole year. You know, in case you find yourself craving a little pumpkin spice action in the dead of summer.
These won’t actually be the first pumpkin spice K-Cups to hit the market — once beverage brands realized how insane people were going over Starbucks’ pumpkin spice lattes, they launched versions of pumpkin spice K-Cups (including Keurig itself). This is the only one authorized by Starbucks itself, though, so it’s guaranteed to taste just as good as what you’d get at an actual Starbucks. (That’s how that works, right?)
We’re excited about this for two reasons: First, we won’t have to drop a few bucks every time we want a PSL, and second, those of us who do not live in a city with a Starbucks every 100 feet or so can finally enjoy a PSL on a regular basis.
