Starbucks just released a new Piña Colada drink, and summer has officially peaked
How does our favorite coffee chain love us? Let us count the ways, beginning with Starbucks’ new Piña Colada Tea Infusion. If coconut-flavored beverages are your jam, then we fully expect you to be bustin’ down the door of your nearest Starbucks any moment now.
Seems that since the folks at Starbucks know we absolutely ~lurve~ to sip on something delicious and refreshing to beat the heat, they’ve decided to #bless us with yet another drink to make our summer complete — and obviously much, much cooler.
Following the Teavana Shaken Pineapple Black Tea Infusion that dropped earlier this month, the new tropical beverage combines Teavana black tea and creamy coconut milk.
It sounds like a whole lotta summery yum in a cup.
If you think you’ll be drinking your fair share of the coconut-tinged teas (SAME), then we have even better news for you: Feel free to totally pace yourself, because Starbuck’s Teas Infusions will be available all year long. It’s already in stores, so join us in adding the mix to your grocery shopping list.
While we prefer to stick with one-word descriptions like yum and YAS (!), Starbucks takes the more poetic approach, dubbing its newest liquid concoction as “subtly sweet,” “delightfully refreshing,” and “like summer in a cup, all year long.” Basically, what they’re trying to say is that this is the type of drink you must sip with an accompanying hair flip.
So we’ve got the hair thing down already. All we need is a Piña Colada Tea Infusion in hand to complete the “I stay (re)fresh(ed) all summer” look.
