Someone baked an apple pie that is also an exact 3D replica of Aladdin's palace, and everyone must stop and look
Ever hear of a piescraper? We hadn’t either, until we saw this gorgeous pie in the shape of Aladdin’s palace. Oh yes — it’s not just cakes that can be morphed into anything. A few talented bakers out there want to prove that pies can also be baked into a tasty work of art.
The piescraper was created by Jessica Leigh Clark-Bojin of Pies Are Awesome — and luckily, she created a tutorial on how you, yourself, can master a pie that’s similarly as cool. The best part is getting to see Clark-Bojin hide three mini pies within the palace. Pie within a pie? Unbelievable.
The Pies Are Awesome website is responsible for a few other cool pies as well. For example, they recently unleashed a pie inspired by Game of Thrones.
And this Wonder Woman-inspired pie brings us so much (delicious) girl power.
But there’s something about the Aladdin pie that leaves us wanting to rewatch the Disney classic ASAP. And the fact that it even includes the Genie is just inspiring.
Clark-Bojin is so inspired by pie that she posts a new tutorial every Wednesday on the “Jessica’s Pie-oneering” section of her website. But she doesn’t just make pies — she also highlights pie creations of fellow bakers worldwide.
While she claims she’s not a master baker — and instead identifies as a filmmaker and designer — we think differently. We mean, we’ve never seen pies that hold together so well. Her creative designs are almost too cool to eat.
