Like many of my fellow introverts, one of my greatest joys in life is eating a good meal in solitude. If you fall into this category as well, I have some amazing news for you because a new ramen restaurant is actually a paradise for introverts — you’ll see why. This phenomena is popular in Japan, but it only recently came to the United States when the new restaurant ICHIRAN opened in (where else?) Brooklyn.

In addition to never speaking to a waiter, you don’t even have to make eye contact during this fine dining experience (I told you this was a dream come true). You fill out a form with your ramen order and then use a button to signal that you’re ready to place the order.

Introverts have officially found the restaurant of our dreams.
