Food is life and trying to eat healthy food on a time crunch can be a real challenge which is why we jumped for joy when we learned Oprah is launching ready-to-eat healthy meals. The OWN Network founder and TV mogul is thankfully still very much a part of trying to make the lives of others a little easier and this new venture is set to do just that.

Winfrey has signed a deal with Kraft Heinz to launch her own brand of refrigerated ready-to-eat meals called Mealtime Stories which is dedicated to bringing healthier options to our supermarket shelves.

The mission of Mealtime Stories sounds like the exact thing that so many of us need in our life — fast, healthy foods that will feed our bodies and not cost us too much money or time.

There aren’t a whole lot of details available yet on the exact meals that are going to be available, but details are expected to be released later this year and are expected to “extend across a range of categories” according to People.

And, in line with other Oprah-worthy ventures, the 62-year-old’s new venture is said to use 10 % of profits from Mealtime Stories to donate “to charities aimed at eradicating hunger.” We’re totally for anything that helps everyone have access to healthy, affordable, good food!
