There is a new type of grocery store cookie dough
Cookie dough is very important. It gives us cookies, which we obviously wouldn’t be able to live without, and it also gives us delicious dough. Well, now there’s a new cookie dough by Nestle Toll House that might be even better than the classic chocolate chip cookie dough you have a healthy/unhealthy relationship with.
Every year, Nestle invents a new twist on its classic chocolate chip cookie dough — and it never fails to impress. This year, the Cookie of the Year is probably going to make you very, very happy. It’s Chocolate Fudge Pretzel, a mixture of chocolate cookie dough, milk chocolate chips, and pretzel pieces.
So, basically, heaven in cookie dough form.
There’s really nothing better than a warm cookie that has the perfect blend of gooeyness and crunch — especially when that crunch brings some added saltiness to the sweetness of the cookie.
Of course, the package warns not to consume raw cookie dough, and while we aren’t condoning breaking that rule, we’re also definitely are not not condoning it. Because life is just better when cookie dough is involved.
The Chocolate Fudge Pretzel cookie dough is in stores now, replacing last year’s Cookie of the Year — a sugar cookie with Butterfinger bits. So, if you’re in need of an easy and yummy dessert, you know what to do. You have from now until next August to stock up — which sounds like a lot of time, until next August rolls around and the pretzel cookie dough is gone from your life forever.
