Here's a Fireball sangria recipe to take the edge off your holiday stress
If you feel the weight of the holidays bearing down upon you, maybe you need a drink. Seriously, we’re all adults here and this fireball sangria recipe from Delish sounds like it’s the perfect boozy beverage to take the edge off your holiday stresses. Of course, we advise you to do so responsibly, because we can only imagine the awful reaction your stomach will have to you guzzling every single of ounce of that Fireball whiskey in a box.
Plus, if you’re anything like us, you probably still have some last-minute gifts to buy and everyone else is probably too busy to drive you to the mall only to watch you stumble around trying to remember what size your mom wears with absolutely no assistance from your foggy, drunken brain.
Now that we’ve gotten that out of the way, let’s have a look-see at this Fireball sangria recipe. You start by combining a bowl full of apple, orange and blood orange chunks and dousing the fruit in Fireball whiskey. Let the mixture sit for 20 minutes. Remove the liquor-soaked fruit and place it in a pitcher. Then, ADD RED WINE (and yes, caps because wine is everything and obviously our favorite part of this recipe), apple juice and holy shit, EVEN MORE FIREBALL.
Stir, pour into glasses and serve yourself.
And if you’re really in the giving spirit, you’ll serve some of this spicy sangria to your friends and family too, but we totally wouldn’t blame you for keeping this drink all to yourself.
