Our favorite Starbucks Frappuccino is BACK!
Frappuccino fans, this news might please you — Starbucks has announced that one of their most popular flavors, the Caramel Cocoa Cluster Frappuccino, will soon make its way back behind the barista counter for a limited time. And I mean, a super limited time. Due to National Caramel Day, which is on April 5th, the coffee franchise is re-releasing the toffee and caramel-flavored fan favorite until April 11th. The drink made its original debut last year, when it was introduced with a few other experimental flavors in celebration of the Frappuccino’s 20th birthday.
Like many other limited time offers (we’re talking about you, McRib) the exclusivity only brings on ultimate intrigue, especially if you missed the Caramel Cocoa Cluster window the last time it was introduced. The drink consists of toffee nut syrup, Frappuccino roast coffee, ice, milk, and a (delicious) layer of caramel sauce, and is further topped with whipped cream and mocha sauce. Since this frap pretty much won the “best in show” when originally introduced with Frappuccino must-try flavors like cinnamon roll and red velvet, you’re guaranteed to have a dessert-worthy that gets a universal thumbs up from both frap fans and caramel fans alike.
The Caramel Cocoa Cluster Frappuccino isn’t the only thing that Starbucks is bringing back during this week — they’ll also be re-introducing the Sweet Receipt deal. That means that after you grab your delicious Frappuccino, you can save your receipt and use it for a $1 baked good anytime after 2 p.m. You might already be hitting up your local Starbucks twice a day anyway, but now you have a legitimate excuse — savings.
