Dunkin' Donuts

It’s that time of year again: Schedules are crazy hectic, there’s a chill in the air, and all you want to do is stay somewhere warm and cuddle up…but that can’t happen because you’re all go-go-go (your holiday shopping isn’t done yet, is it?!). If you’re going to be out and about, there’s no better way to conquer the day with a coffee in hand, and this holiday season, Dunkin’ Donuts is looking to make your travels a little bit more caffeinated — with free coffee, that is.

Dunkin’ Donuts’ holiday coffee cups say JOY right on them, and now they’re looking to literally put the joy right in your hand. Between December 12th and December 23rd, roughly 30 locations across the country will be handing out 500 free medium coffees, for one day, and one day only at each location.

You read that right, 500 free coffees to 500 smiling, happy people. All you’ve got to do is show up and, you know, order a coffee (you’ve got to buy the accompanying candy cane crunch donut yourself).

Dunkin' Donuts

This promotion will kick off in two Chicago-area Dunkin’ Donuts on December 12, and continue across the country after that ~brewing joy~ in Philadelphia, Springfield (MA), St. Louis, Nashville, Hartford, Detroit, Baltimore, Boston, Washington D.C., Providence, Kansas City, Burlington, and New York City. You’re gonna wanna follow the Dunkin’ Donuts blog (and @DunkinDonuts, of course) to learn exactly when and where you can snag a free coffee in your area.

If you don’t live near any of these cities, don’t worry! There’s still a way for you to get FREE COFFEE. Dunkin’ Donuts is rolling out their #DDCoffeeJoySweepstakes, where you can post a photo or video showcasing how Dunkin’ Donuts makes its way into your holiday traditions. Each week, five lucky winners will win a month’s supply of coffee (omg) and one lucky grand prize winner will bring home a year’s supply of coffee (OMG). That contest begins right now — December 5th! — and runs through the 23rd.

And as if Dunkin’ Donuts isn’t giving enough right now, they’re giving back to the community, too. As explained in a press release, for each area that is handing out free coffee the company will be donating “$1,000 to a local organization aligned with the Joy in Childhood Foundation’s mission to bring joy to children whose lives are affected by health issues or hunger.”

Is that enough happiness, and caffeine, for you? So get snapping with an entry for the #DDCoffeeJoySweepstakes, and be on the lookout next week for a free coffee location near you. Happy holidays, indeed.
