A dad with a super talent: making Disney princess pancakes
Nathan Shields, a stay-at-home dad from Washington state, just upped the slumber party breakfast game. Shields posted a video to his pancake YouTube Channel (yes, he has a pancake YouTube channel), that shows how he makes Disney Princess pancakes.
These edible portraits of Jasmine, Tiana, Cinderella, Elsa and Anna totally wow his daughter—who adds finishing touches of Nutella to color in the princesses’ hair.
And, Shields’ pancake talent extends well beyond Disney. His YouTube Channel and website, Saipancakes.com, show tutorials for The Beatles (John, Paul, George and Ringo!), Michael Jackson, the cast of The Walking Dead, and more! This brunch artist has garnered more than 71,000 YouTube subscribers, 45,000 Facebook followers, and a bona fide Wikipedia page! Apparently, the site got the name Saipancake, because on a trip to Saipan with his family, Shields made his children animal pancakes, aka Saipancakes.
