It only comes once a year, but anyone on a perpetual Chick-fil-A diet looks forward to the fried-chicken chain’s Cow Appreciation Day all year round. That’s because the bovine-free establishment offers up free food for an ENTIRE day to anyone who shows up dressed as a cow. Yes, that’s right, FREE chicken nuggets, free strips, free chicken salad sandwiches with free Chil-fil-A sauce on the side. FREE everything!

So what do you get when you combine FREE food plus everyone’s favorite fast food spot?

Because, all Chick-fil-A fanatics know sometimes ya gotta put in work to get the goods.

According to Chick-fil-A’s site, this is the 13th year the company is celebrating Cow Appreciation Day and honoring their free food offer.

Last year, more than 1.6 million people donned black and white spots in the name of free chicken. And like, can you blame them?

Grab your cow bells, y’all. It’s free chicken time.
