Do you know where your closest Carvel is? If you do, good. If you don’t, get on finding it before May 28th. That’s because Carvel has released cookie butter soft serve ice cream, which is only available this spring. The ice cream company has partnered with the European cookie company Lotus Biscoff to create this international treat. Even if you’ve never had a Biscoff cookie, you’re going to want to try this ice cream. And if you have had one, then you know why we’re so freakin’ excited.

Beyond the deliciousness of cookie butter ice cream, Carvel is offering five different ways to experience this goodness. Besides the soft serve ice cream, the ice cream company is offering:

Hand-scooped cookie butter ice cream with caramel and Lotus Biscoff cookie crumbles

Cookie butter sundae with whipped cream, caramel, and Lotus Biscoff cookie crumbles

Cookie butter shake with the soft ice cream blended with Lotus Biscoff cookie crumbles

Cookie butter soft ice cream sandwiched between two chocolate crackers

We told you this was legit!!

This limited-time flavor is part of the cookie butter trend that Starbucks and Trader Joe’s Speculoos Cookies have picked up on.

Although “biscuits” aren’t normally a mouthwatering dessert in America, Carvel is bringing awareness to this form of tastiness with its cookie butter ice cream.

You can try this new flavor for free on Carvel’s free cone day on Thursday, April 27th, 2017 from 3 to 8 p.m. ET. So you have no excuse to miss out on getting this European treat in a very American ice cream cone this spring.
