Let’s be honest: Ever since we witnessed wizards guzzling down butterbeer in the Harry Potter movies/read about it in all seven books, we’ve been dying to taste the unique butterscotch treat. And now Cosmopolitan has let us know about a recipe for boozy butterbeer and boozy butterbeer fudge!
THIS IS FOR REAL, GUYS!
As you may already know, there are already recipes that have run with this kind of theme. There’s a bar in Toronto that serves HP-themed drinks, and you can even make your own butterbeer cupcakes. But something about boozy butterbeer fudge just kind of WINS IT. Like, for serious, who isn’t down with fudge?
And the best part is, both recipes are super easy!
Spiced rum – 1 ounce
Butterscotch schnapps – 1 ounce
Cream soda – 12 ounce
Vanilla ice cream – one scoop
Here’s what you do:
Add your vanilla ice cream into a frosted mug, and pour the rum and butterscotch schnapps on top. Then pour the cream soda into the mug until you have floating ice cream! DRINK YOUR BUTTERBEER.
Boozy Butterbeer fudge
Smuckers Butterscotch Spoonable topping – 1 jar
Marshmallow cream – 4.6 ounce
White chocolate chips – 16 ounce
Smuckers Marshmallow Spoonable topping – 1/2 jar
Marshmallow cream – 2.3 ounce jar
White chocolate chips – 8 ounce
Directions for First Layer:
Spray a glass pan with some non-stick spray. Pour the whole jar of Smuckers Butterscotch topping into a saucepan and bring to a boil. Add 4.6 ounce of Smuckers Marshmallow cream, then stir till melted. Add 8 ounces white chocolate chips, then the Boozy Butterbeer mixture. Bring all these delicious liquids to a boil and stir. Spread evenly across the bottom of the pan.
Pour ½ jar of Smuckers Marshmallow topping into a pot, and stir together until it starts to boil. Add 1 full cup of 8 ounce white chocolate chips. Pour over the first layer. Let it set. And that’s it, guys.
