Burger King just one-upped McDonald's with this new deal
Are you hungry? Better yet, are you hungry and on a newer, tighter budget as part of a New Year’s resolution to save money? It’s all good, because Burger King totally has your back.
The fast food giant just announced a royally good deal today called 5 for $4. It’s exactly what it sounds like: five menu items for a teeny, tiny total of $4. The deal comes with a bacon cheeseburger, small french fries, four-piece chicken nuggets, a small drink and a chocolate chip cookie. Basically, an entire meal, plus a yummy dessert. (And yo, bacon.) For four buck. Not too bad, right?
Burger King’s announcement comes on the heels of a new deal McDonald’s rolled out yesterday, the McPick 2. The McPick 2 is a limited special that allows customers to choose any two of the following menu items for just $2 total: a McDouble, a McChicken, small fries, and mozzarella sticks. (Love those mozzarella sticks!) Just yesterday, Business Insider predicted that this move by Mickey D’s “should terrify Burger King and Wendy’s.” It looks like they might have been right.
But hey, if the burger chains want to go to war, that’s cool. Because the real winner will be the customers who get to eat for less. Amirite?
Your move, Ronald McDonald.
