Burger King just added Cheetos Chicken Fries to its menu and we don't know how to feel
Is it just us, or does it seem like 2016 has been the year that all fast food restaurant chains have completely lost their minds? While Taco Bell has released some questionable menu items this year, like the Walking Nachos and Cheesy Core Burrito, it’s Burger King that really has us concerned as to what is going on with their menu!
The fast food burger chain announced today that they’re adding Cheetos Chicken Fries to their already ever-expanding menu of items that will make you go, “WHAT?!”
From the looks of it, Burger King took their Mac ‘n’ Cheetos creation and applied it to their Chicken Fries menu option, which the chain reintroduced in 2005.
This isn’t the *first* time Burger King has come out of left field with innovative menu options. Remember how they now offer, um, grilled hot dogs and something called a Whopperito? And the time they made that burger with the black bun that had everyone freaking out?
And if you think BK is doing all of this to boost sales on those weird menu items, think again. Burger King North America President Alex Macedo says, “It’s just to get peoples’ attention to come in to the restaurants.” The limited-time releases are also “important for keeping the brand relevant.”
We might have to sit this one out, but would you try the new Cheetos Chicken Fries from Burger King?
