With the arrival of fall comes easy, breezy weather, the chance to break out those knee-high boots that have been collecting dust in the back of your closet all summer, and —who are we kidding — the ONLY thing that matters is all the glorious fried food the annual state fair has to offer.

Each year, the state fair outdoes itself by blessing attendees with an ever-expanding array of crazy AF fried foods. But if you bristle at the idea of waiting several months to sink your chops into a double bacon corn dog, we’re willing to bet you’ll be among the first group of salivating customers in line at Walmart’s state fair-themed restaurant.

Um, yeah. Walmart went all the way there because apparently, stocking its shelves with deep fried Twinkies just wasn’t good enough for the fried food-loving masses. Coined State Fair Treats, the in-store restaurant is the brainchild of Isaac Rousso, who is responsible for unleashing fried Pop Tarts and bacon margaritas upon the world.

The Dallas Morning News reports that the first of Rousso’s restaurants will open next week in a Plano, TX. Apparently, the fried food enthusiast has designs on eventually replacing all of the McDonald’s currently abandoning their posts at Wal-Mart.

With a menu that includes “cookie fries and funnel cake fries along with corn dogs, deep-fried hash browns stuffed with bacon and cheddar cheese and some new creations,” State Fair Treats is sure to change your Walmart shopping experience, but we honestly don’t know if our stomachs are ready for it.
