One of the best recurring segments on The Tonight Show is the classroom instrument covers of hit songs. It’s an ingenious way to have artists perform their top tunes, and of course, it’s adorable.

You know what we’re talking about, when Jimmy, The Roots, and the guest artist all pile into that tiny (is it a dressing) room and bang out pop tunes on kazoos and ukeleles.

Whoever came up with the idea for this segment is a genius, and they’ve covered such a great range of tunes. The Sesame Street theme song with Big Bird himself is amazing, and Mariah Carey’s classic ‘All I Want For Christmas Is You‘? Totally brilliant. My personal favorite is ‘All About That Bass,’ because I’m a sucker for anything with a retro vibe.

Last night, Madonna teamed up with Jimmy Fallon and The Roots to perform her latest, ‘Holiday’, all decked out in Hawaiian shirts and awesome sunglasses! Not only do we love ‘Holiday’ but we kind of love Madonna more than ever for being down enough to do this.

Here’s Madonna’s performance for your listening and viewing pleasure!
