Emily Blunt dyed her hair the perfect shade of blonde for fall
Suddenly, it seems like summer is over: The days are cooler, and a little shorter. Now, going out in the evening seems perilous without a cardigan. Luckily, we adore everything autumn has to offer, like chunky sweaters, the beloved PSL, leaves falling… we could go on forever.
Another great fall trend is the ability to reinvent: try that new hair style, or run with the ability to layer and wear scarves – there’s something about the season that just screams ~renewal~, you know?
In fact, the new autumnal hair hue we like best is Emily Blunt’s lively, multi-dimensional blonde look. The hair color looks particularly great styled as a long bob (or lob), which Blunt is also sporting.
According to Refinery29, Blunt revealed the new hairstyle at New York Fashion Week, where she attended the Michael Kors show with other stars like Sienna Miller and Cynthia Erivo.
Though Blunt is typically brunette – her hair fell somewhere on the dirty blonde/light brown spectrum for Edge of Tomorrow – and this is the lightest we’ve ever seen it. However, we think it looks pretty phenomenal, and that the shade would stand out super well amongst a backdrop of falling leaves and knit hats.
While we support whatever Emily (and for that matter, anyone) chooses to do with her hair next, we do kind of hope this color sticks around as she begins to promote the October 7th release of The Girl on the Train — it’s just such a perfect color!
