Know how excited you get when you spot your favorite character at Disneyland? Now imagine being a dog and spotting another dog in the park. Though one of these dogs in question is actually a giant costumed-character, that doesn’t bother service dog Ace. He’s all sorts of excited to get down on the ground and play with Pluto.

Ace is currently in the middle of his guide dog training, and has roughly six more months to go before he’s ready to start working for real. Trainer Sandy Steinblums decided to take him to Disneyland for a little bit as a “socialization experience,” since Ace needs to get used to being in large crowds, and also staying focused and working as a service dog in large crowds. But he simply couldn’t contain his excitement when he spotted Pluto.

Pluto, also being a dog, got down on the ground to rub noses with Ace, and the two entered into some smelling and tail wagging, as all dogs say hello. After Ace’s excitement wore off, he went into a “down/stay” position, which is what he’s been trained to do.

“That is my boy and I am proud of him and love the Disney characters for being so kind and helpful!” Steinblums writes on Facebook. We’re pretty proud of Ace, too, so keep up the good work! Maybe we’ll him ourselves hanging out with his BFF Pluto sometime in the future.
