There are a surprising number of Slytherins in this Disney Princesses at Hogwarts art
There are very few places Disney princesses haven’t gone yet, like outer space, and Costco (I’d say “underwater” too, but they actually went underwater once). Now, cross off this next location, because the Disney Princesses, and some of their Disney Princes, have now officially gone to Hogwarts School for Witchcraft and Wizardry.
Our friends at Cosmopolitan teamed up with (incredibly talented) artist Isaiah Stephens to bring this idea to life. What happens if Cinderella, Belle, and Elsa were all enrolled Hogwarts? Better yet, which Houses would they be sorted into? It’s a question we’ve asked ourselves before, but now we’ve got actual images to back up this daydream. And it appears as if a LOT of Disney princesses end up in Slytherin, which is odd. But then again, many Disney princesses can talk to animals, so maybe they’ve got a little bit of parseltongue running through their veins.
On the Hogwarts Express, Belle (Ravenclaw, because she always has her head stuck in a book) finds herself in a train compartment with Aurora and Philip, both in Hufflepuff (probably for their patience. Aurora was asleep for a really long time, remember).
Elsa just might end up being talked into Slytherin, where she could go on to do great things. That giant snowman? HA. Nothing compared to the snowy magic she could do wearing green.
In Disney Hogwarts, using the Marauder’s Map to explore the castle isn’t just for Gryffindors. This group appears to have representatives from every house (although it’s admittedly hard to tell for sure in the dark).
And, of course, Aladdin is in Gryffindor and of course he’s flying around on what would normally be an inanimate object because, you know, some things never change.
If you want to check out the whole series — including a perfect Ursula as Umbridge — head over to Cosmopolitan.com. Now someone really send the Disney Princesses into space.
