A wedding with over 1,000 guests is a pretty big deal by any standard. But when those guests are cats…WHOA. Massive deal. Huge.

A Canadian couple recently threw a wedding that was the stuff of cat lovers’ dreams. Dominic Husson and Louise Véronneau are both major animal lovers (like, majorly major), so they chose to exchange vows at the Cat House on the Kings, a no-cage, no-kill cat sanctuary in California.

Cat House on the Kings is pretty much a magical wonderland for cats and people who love them, so it’s kind of surprising that Husson and Véronneau are the first couple to ever get married there. Over 1,100 cats watched them tie the knot. There were cats everywhere, guys. It looks like the ring bearer may have been a cat…

One kitty even took a tumble in the hem of Véronneau’s wedding dress.

We’re guessing she didn’t mind, though. Husson told CBC News, “We are both animal lovers, and it shows she’s a great person, and that’s why I wanted to marry her.”

Awwwww.
