We are HERE for this couple that got engaged via flash mob dance at spin class
Usually, when spin class makes me cry it’s out of exhaustion, not happiness. (And don’t get me started on the nausea. Wow, am I out of shape.) But this spin class has me crying in awe and in aww.
As reported by Out, Spin instructor Adam Keller decided to use his class to propose to fellow spin instructor Jared Marinelli, his boyfriend of two years, with a choreographed dance and a surprise appearance by their family members.
Marinelli begins the spin class before Adam quickly takes over, leading everyone in a highly choreographed performance to Jess Glynne’s “Hold My Hand,” while wearing “Team Jadam” shirts. Then members of Marinelli’s and Keller’s family enter, holding up signs expressing their approval of the pair.
Marinelli’s shock is palpable. And then came the tears of happiness. By then I was crying, too!
JoyRide—the studio the two lovebirds teach at—released a press statement expressing their happiness:
Marinelli and Keller first met when Keller arrived at JoyRide’s Ridgefield studio, looking for an instructor job last March. Marinelli was originally tasked with training Keller and, well, it was “love at first playlist.”
Congratulations to the happy couple! I wish every spin class was filled with such love and happiness!
