Art out of frosting — who knew it could look so sweet? Chances are, you’ve never seen Vincent van Gogh’s “The Starry Night” like this before. This college student recreated “The Starry Night” in frosting, reported People, and we think she’s a true artist.

Emily Zauzmer, 20, has been making “cake-paintings,” and we’re ~super~ impressed. Some of us can barely paint on canvas, let alone on a cake, amirite?!

“It’s really just for fun, something I love to do!” Zauzmer told People. “When I was five, I begged my parents to take me to see The Starry Night in New York. Which, for a kindergartner, is pretty funny. But I saw it, fell in love, and got hooked!”

Here’s Zauzmer’s cake version of “The Starry Night.” Warning: When you see the below pics of her work, prepare to be impressed — and hungry. Very, very hungry. (You may want to have cake ingredients or a container of frosting handy, just in case.)

W-o-wwwww, right?!

And here’s a photo of the original and Zauzmer’s edible version, in case you want to see them both at once.

We ~love~ the frame as an added touch!

Here’s a look at the process.

Even just a piece of it is a work of art.

All we can say is: Yum!

The Harvard University student has made seven artistic cakes so far. Each one takes anywhere from 12 hours up to four days.

In high school, Zauzmer took an art history class and became inspired. “I was studying art, but not creating art,” she said. “I became frustrated, because I had all of these creative juices flowing!” Hence, her cake idea was born — and are we ever glad.

For “The Starry Night,” she bought a cupcake book that gave her some decorating tips. But then she started styling her cakes (and cupcakes) her own way.

Let’s take a look at more of Zauzmer’s delicious creations.

There’s this Munch-worthy one, inspired by Edvard Munch’s “The Scream,” of course.

Looks like it was goooood.

And then there’s Johannes Vermeer’s “Girl with a Pearl Earring.” Btw, don’t you love Zauzmer’s Instagram name? 🙂

We cannot get enough of these behind-the-scenes photos!

Then there’s also Roy Lichtenstein’s “Oh, Jeff…I Love You, Too…But…”

We’d eat this cake no matter what stage it’s in.

There are many more “paintings” on Zauzmer’s Insta. But, rn, we have to go make a cake, STAT.
