Chrissy Teigen has something to say to the haters who body-shamed Kristin Cavallari's kids
Although she may be a new mother, Chrissy Teigen has already figured out how tough it can be as a mom in the spotlight. She caught some unwarranted heat on social media shortly after her gorgeous daughter Luna was born, all because she went out to dinner with her husband John Legend. Dinner, guys. She went to dinner.
This week, Kristen Cavallari, former Laguna Star and mother of two, also joined the ranks of famous women who have been mom-shamed. She posted a beautiful picture on her Instagram of her husband and sons celebrating the Fourth of July, but instead of getting comments of support, she was hit with a nasty flow of remarks about her sons being too “skinny.” Kristen subsequently blocked quite a few people because of their judgment, writing on her Instagram, “Yep, I starve my children. Just blocked the most people I’ve ever blocked in my entire life. Happy 4th hahaha.”
In truth, though, this isn’t the first time Kristen has gotten slammed for her parenting skills. When she said she didn’t want to vaccinate her kids in 2014, she went on Watch What Happens Live to defend her decision and said, “At the end of the day, I’m just a mom. I’m trying to make the best decision for my kid. There are very scary statistics regarding what is in vaccines and what they cause. Asthma, allergies, ear infections, all kinds of things.”
Well, Chrissy feels Kristen’s pain, and she’s come out to publicly support her — and every other mom out there who gets shamed for their parenting choices.
Chrissy tweeted in defense of Kristen, wondering “why parents criticize each other so harshly, knowing they’d go insane if they were on the receiving end ALLTHETIME.” She then came right out and said, “I loathe these shithead commenters.” Chrissy’s candor will never bore us. false false
Chrissy finished off with a sending of virtual love to Kristen. false
And Kristen responded with some more lovin’. false
We hope to see more of Chrissy and Kristen and their kids, and less internet trolls who have nothing better to do than judge mothers who only want the best for their children. Badass Hollywood moms unite!
