Chloe x Halle (aka Beyoncé's proteges) just dropped an epic first single
We’re calling it: This is going to be THE song of the spring.
Sister singing duo Chloe x Halle have been busy. They were one of the first acts signed to Beyoncé’s music label Parkwood Entertainment (no pressure) and are starting to make some major moves in the industry. Chloe and Halle just released their dreamy debut single “Drop,” but that’s not all — they also released an equally as etherial music video to match.
We’ve been listening to “Drop” on repeat all morning. It’s equal parts beautiful and swag-a-licious. The video features the sisters singing, dancing, looking badass and frolicking with horses.
Chloe and Halle are still relatively new to the music scene, but they already have some pretty powerful ladies on their side. They opened for FLOTUS herself Michelle Obama’s keynote at SxSW. They also sang alongside Kelly Clarkson, Missy Elliott, and Zendaya in the charity single “This is for My Girls.”
“I want to take all my resources and give these artists the support of the best, to nurture them and allow they to be who they really are,” Bey recently told Elle of the talent signed to Parkwood Entertainment.
When Queen B herself is in your corner, you know that you’re destined for great things. We can’t wait to watch Chloe and Halle’s careers take off!
