There’s nothing better than watching a cat video to make your day little bit brighter. One curious kitty is making headlines for adorably using the pedestrian crossing on a busy street in Dartford, England.

This furry feline knows how to stop traffic and it gets all the applause for putting safety first!

One smart driver, Justin Scrutton, caught the cat’s clever crossing on video. Luckily, his vehicle has a dash–cam that captures anything, even an adorable feline’s city adventures. The short clip was uploaded by Rumble Viral.

When you think about it, the feline used the crossing a lot better than most human do. Scrutton, who runs his own transfer business appropriately called Justin Time Travel, was taking his vehicle to the valet when he spotted the clever feline.

In the video, the 44–year–old man chuckled and clapped at the fact that the furry animal used the pedestrian crossing, saying “Spot on,” as he walked from one end of the street to the other.

According to News Shopper, Scrutton thought the cat was going to run across the street when he first spotted him, so he slowed down.

“I just approached the zebra crossing and looked both sides as you do, in case there was a child,” he said. “Both cars stopped and the cat looks both ways, he thought, ‘it’s my turn’ and crossed.”

“He has obviously done that before, it was very sweet,” he added.

The black and white cat certainly has street smarts and he wasn’t going to waste any of his nine lives when there’s a perfectly good pedestrian crossing.
