Brangelina's Christmas vacation cost a whopping $18,000 per night
As if we needed another reason to wish we belonged to Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s super chic and amazing family, details are now emerging about their Christmas vacation. And OMG we are freaking out.
According to Page Six, Brangelina (we’re still calling them that in 2016, right?) is spending the holidays on the island paradise of Phuket, Thailand, in a villa that runs…wait for it…$18,000 per night. WHOA. We know their family is on the larger side, but $18,000 is a lot of money. To put things in perspective, you could buy a brand new Volkswagen Golf for less than that amount.
So what exactly does $18,000 per night get you at a fancy beach resort in Thailand? (Seriously, we need to know. We’re always up for a vacay.) A private villa with 10 bedrooms, 8 servants, a private gym and its own swimming pool, complete with mini-pagodas. (We’re thinking $18K should be enough to cover regular-sized pagodas or even giant ones, but whatevs.) The villa is part of the Amanpuri luxury resort in Phuket. Per Vanity Fair, there are no photos of the Brangelina villa on Amanpuri’s website, but even their less expensive accommodations look ridiculously amazing. If forced, I could probably suffer through spending the holidays here:
Brad and Angelina’s family vacation hasn’t been perfect, however. Their 12-year-old son Pax reportedly broke his leg jet-skiing. Ouch! Get well soon, Pax. It’s a bummer to get hurt while on holiday. But we could think of worse places to recover. Just saying.
