We're still not over these behind-the-scenes Grammy portraits
Up until this year, backstage Grammy photos of winners have been tightly kept under wraps. Lucky for us, the Grammys official photographer, Danny Clinch, employed the photobooth method this year, making those exclusive Grammy portraits available for ALL to see! True to 2015, the snaps have been shared on both The Grammys official Instagram and Danny Clinch’s personal account. With monochromatic backgrounds and soft hues galore, these portraits have a bit of that old-school “I-could-be-hanging-in-a-library” flair. Hey, we dig it!
Let’s review some of our favorites, shall we?
Undisputed man of the night, Sam Smith, looked poised as ever after snagging four awards including Record of the Year, Song of the Year, Best New Artist and Best Pop Vocal Album.
Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga not only won for Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album, but also put on a show-stopping performance of “Cheek To Cheek”.
Thanks to their collaborative effort on “Drunk In Love,” the world’s most recognized power couple took home an award for Best R&B Performance. Are we still hailing the surfbort?
Keepin’ that napkin “Handy,” are ya? Weird Al’s Mandatory Fun snagged an much-deserved award for Best Comedy Album.
