This baby is trying so hard to sing along with a ukulele, and we can hardly handle it
Where’s the first place you go when you need a pick-me-up? Babies. Babies have the power to make us laugh, make us cry, and make us believe in magic again. This little baby named Sofie Phoenix is no different. She’s only 4 months old and there’s a video of her on Instagram trying her absolute hardest to sing along with a ukulele. It will make your day, we promise.
Sofie is the baby daughter of internationally renowned yoga couple Claudine and Honza Lafond, who created Yoga Beyond. Baby Sofie is currently in Thailand, where her parents are running a yoga teacher training program along with yoga personalities Dice Iida-Klein and Briohny Smyth. Dice took a break from all the yoga to whip out his ukulele and sing with Sofie — and the cuteness that ensued was almost too much to handle.
Clearly, baby Sofie loves “No Diggity” by Blackstreet, so she’s already got good taste in music. The more Uncle Dice sings, the more she tries to sing along. At one point Dice literally says, “Scream it out.” And that’s exactly what Sofie does.
Here’s Round 2 for your viewing pleasure.
We love this little baby! She’s all smiles and giggles, and we have a feeling she’s going to be a performer one day. Sofie’s parents are acro yoga enthusiasts, so if you follow along with their Instagram, you can see a whole treasure of baby acro yoga pictures. Naturally, Sofie is smiling her way through every one of them.
All we can say is we can’t wait for the next Dice and Sofie duet.
