Ariel Winter is beyond fed up with people shaming her tattoos
The more people body shame Ariel Winter, the more we fall in love with her — because she always fires back with something that’s worth listening to. As silly as it sounds, she’s being trolled by people online these days because of the tattoos she’s chosen to get on her body.
Let’s have a look at her most recent tattoo, a tiger’s face on her upper back.
It’s beautiful, right?! And good for her for sharing her new body art so confidently. Unfortunately, there are some very unhappy, mean people out there who feel compelled to publicly judge her for her choices. When she co-hosted The Talk a few mornings ago, she said she’s been hearing and reading things like, “You shouldn’t be getting tattoos because you’re ruining your body. How dare you destroy yourself even more? You were pretty and a nice person and now you’re just trash.”
To this, Ariel says, “Every time I post about getting a tattoo, every single person on the face of the planet has something to say about it.”
As strong as she is, Ariel admits that it’s not easy to hear so many negative comments from others on a daily basis. “It just really, it can destroy a person and I also think it’s disgusting what people spend their time on,” Ariel boldly said. “You’re sitting behind a computer, you don’t have the guts to say it to my face, but you have the time and energy to shame and hurt somebody on the computer, and that just show how little respect you have for other people and how people spend their time.”
We can imagine that she’s simply fed up with all the nonsense. Her tattoos are her own choices, and just because she’s famous doesn’t mean anyone has any say over what she does with her body. Can we just say, Ariel, that we totally dig all your ink, and please never change? K, thanks.
