This is not a drill: Amy Schumer and Jennifer Lawrence hung out at the Golden Globes
We can’t lie. Our hearts are breaking just a little that Tina Fey and Amy Poehler aren’t hosting the Golden Globes this year. But we have to say, if anything could mend that situation, it was seeing Amy Schumer and Jennifer Lawrence there together. Yep, that’s right. In what can only be described as a girl-power move of epic proportions, Amy and J-Law not only attended the Globes together, they also presented an award together. The only way this could have been better is if they’d hosted together. (HINT. Are you listening, Hollywood Foreign Press?)
Both Amy and J-Law were nominated for awards tonight. (Because, of course, they were!) And guys, they were nominated in the SAME CATEGORY: Best Actress in a Motion Picture, Musical or Comedy. Jennifer was nominated for her amazing role in Joy.
And Amy was nominated for her role in Trainwreck. Which she also wrote, of course. (Bow down.)
We have to admit, we were praying for a tie, but Lawrence ended up taking home the statue.
Killing it, ladies. Just killing it.
