8-year-old Sky Brown is giving professional skaters a run for their money.

The skating prodigy recently became the youngest girl to compete in the Vans U.S. Open Pro Series, against seasoned skaters more than double her age and size, Mashable reported. Brown, originally from Miyazaki, Japan, is also is a skilled surfer and already an outspoken advocate for female skaters.

To top it off, her five-year-old brother Ocean Brown is also an incredible skater, and their mom chronicles the sibling’s skating adventures on Instagram. Their page “awsmkids” has more than 50,000 followers and they also have a YouTube channel with a series of skating and surfing videos.

Sky has also been enamored of surfing since she was a little girl, and Quartz noted she was obsessed from her very first time on the waves. She told the website Girl Is Not a 4 Letter Word in 2014 that she typically surfs with a crew of girls that are double her age that inspire her.

You can check out her Vans performance here where, as a commentator notes, “she skates bigger than she is.” Talk about a pint-sized inspiration.
