I’m one of those people who suddenly turns into a health nut once the year starts anew. Come July I’ve forsaken these promises for double fudge sundaes, but I always seem to find my way back. This year I decided that instead of making promises to get healthier next year, I’m going to get healthy starting now! The way I like to restart my body and get prepared to work out is to begin with a 7-day juice cleanse. (Disclaimer alert: I’d get a physicians consent before doing any detox.) Anyway, I’ve done them often enough to know what to expect from my body. The after-effect is fantastic. But the actual cleansing part can be a little scary. Trust me, donuts are greatly missed.
