Sorry One Direction fans, Liam Payne has officially left the group
Well, it finally happened, another member of reigning boy band One Direction has flown the coop – Liam Payne. And while many fans are losing their minds over this breaking news, let’s not forget how good things turned out for all of us when Zayn Malik left the band, last year in March. Just sayin’, there’s always hope!
Anyway, here is Liam’s official announcement on Twitter.

Then followed the millions of screams of One Direction fans worldwide.
However, Liam did follow up with this tweet as some consolation.
One direction will always be my home and family but I'm very excited to see what this chapter brings.
