Liam Payne and Cheryl Cole released their first Christmas cards as a couple — and they’re basically already frazzled parents
Even though they have time left ’til baby makes three, Liam Payne and Cheryl Cole’s first Christmas cards as a couple prove they’ve already got that whole “adorably frazzled parents” thing down pat.
On Tuesday, December 20th, both the mom and dad-to-be shared their delightfully cheesy cards — well, more like Christmas memes — on their Instagram accounts. Both of them feature the couple’s heads photoshopped on some festive-looking cartoon bodies, but the texts on the cards differ.
Payne’s, for example, depicts a highly likely scenario where the 1D’er is yet to finish his holiday shopping (his “one job”) in the hours before the big day.
Cole’s, on the other hand, feature the singer and former The X Factor judge getting psyched about Christmas, while Payne plays the role of resident Scrooge. (Man, he does not come off great in these, huh?)

Anyway, the cards are an adorable effort from the couple, who began dating early in 2016 but famously met way back in 2008, when the then-14 Payne auditioned as a solo singer on X Factor. They “announced” they were expecting at the end of November, when they stepped out for the St. James Christmas Carol Concert in London with Cole sporting a sizable bump.
Payne will be the second Direction dude after Louis Tomlinson to enter dad-dom, and we could not be happier for the expecting couple.
