Letter from the Editor: This is what our September issue would look like if we had a September issue

Welcome to the September Issue of HelloGiggles. Just kidding, we don’t have a September Issue, we’re a website. But if we were to have a September Issue, I envision lots and lots of unicorns (because I guess I’m not over that trend yet), a whole spread on body positivity and inclusivity, what we can be doing in this weird, upsetting political climate, and why you should be wearing socks with your sandals this fall. Our cover girl would probably be Aubrey Plaza because I just saw Ingrid Goes West and would love to discuss stalking people on Instagram (not that I do that, or anything). Or maybe author Ayobami Adebayo because I’m reading her novel Stay With Me, and it’s making me feel emoshunz (she’s also just very, very gorgeous).

And this month we’ll be transitioning into fall by giving you the very best seasonal fashion roundups: where to get cute tights that’ll keep your legs cozy as the nights grow colder, coats you should buy even though you already have too many and it’s not even that cold yet, and summer staples you can turn into fall outfits (let’s save some $$$, shall we?).
We’ll be giving you tips on how to decorate your space on a budget (because September is weirdly always the perfect time to redecorate). We’ll also be celebrating the anniversaries of The Fresh Prince of Bel Air and Gossip Girl. And cannon-bombing into fall TV like the fangirls we are (American Horror Story! This Is Us! The Mindy Project!). And also, we’ll be discussing what Hispanic Heritage Month really means, and going book-crazy for National Literacy Month.
So okay, no. We don’t have an official September Issue. But we promise we have plenty in store for you all month long, every single day. Happy September, friends.
