Judd Apatow and Leslie Mann’s throwback wedding photo is the cutest thing ever

We don’t have to tell you, relationships are tough. So when we see a famous couple like Leslie Mann and Judd Apatow holding onto love in the most adorable way — we have to celebrate it! Love is beautiful, in all its mushy-gushy-lovey-dovey glory. Judd Apatow and Leslie Mann are one of the long-standing strong couples of Hollywood, and it’s no secret why.

The couple celebrated their 20th wedding anniversary Friday.

Apatow, the director behind comedic hits like The 40-Year-Old Virgin and Knocked Up, shared the sweetest tribute on Instagram to honor his wife.

“Today is the 20th anniversary of my marriage to the brilliant, hilarious, amazing Leslie Mann. The greatest thing that has ever happened to me, the director wrote while sharing a photo from their wedding day in 1997.

Apatow and Mann gleefully smile in a black-and-white wedding photo taken on the beach.

According to Judd it was love at first sight when he saw Mann during her audition for The Cable Guy in 1995.

"'There goes the future Mrs. Apatow,'" the filmmaker told Elle. "I had a soul connection instantly. I meant it. That's why I remember it."

Mann may joke her husband isn’t funny, but their true love is no joke. The two have a loving (and hilarious) family with daughters Maude, 19 and Iris, 14. Mann and her daughters have starred in several of Apatow’s films.

The couple previously shared their thoughts on making it to 20 years of marriage at the 2017 Oscars.

“In June it goes down, Apatow told Ryan Seacrest on E!'s Live from the Red Carpet.

Seacrest revealed his own parents have enjoyed 47 years of marriage.

“Honey, could you imagine 27 more years? Apatow asked his wife. “No, no way, Mann joked before saying, “Yes!

Here’s to 27 more years of perfectly-in-love moments between these two!
