Leslie Jones and this mega Olympian fangirled over each other on Twitter and now they’re BFFs
We’ve written extensively about how much we love Leslie Jones’ hilarious Olympic-inspired tweets and subsequent commentator job offer at NBC. Well, we’re even more thrilled to say that her tweets have helped form our new favorite duo since Leslie Knope and Ann Perkins: Leslie Jones and volleyball superstar Kerri Walsh Jennings!
It all began a couple of nights ago when Kerri discovered Jones’s many videos cheering her and her partner, April Ross, on, and she came away a changed Olympian.
“I was dying!” Jennings told Yahoo Sports. “I love her. She’s perfect to me.”
She’s perfect to us, too!
