If you’re wondering who won New Year’s this year, it was for sure Lena Dunham

Just when we thought Harry Styles and Kendall Jenner had the best New Year’s, Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin totally stole their thunder with some adorable vaycay pics. But after checking out Lena Dunham’s Instagram, it’s clear that her New Year’s bash topped all.

2015 was a big year for Lena—she launched her email newsletter Lenny and her podcast Women of the Hour, produced another season of Girls and dropped some serious life wisdom about taking advantage of opportunities when they’re presented. So she had a lot to celebrate on New Year’s Eve, and she did it up big.

Lena documented her epic NYE on Instagram, and it looked like the most fun ever. We’re a little jealous we didn’t get an invite to her party, but we’re re-living it through her amazing pics (and equally amazing captions).

The night started out with a dynamite dress and hairdo.

Her mom was in on the celebration too!

And then the party hats came out, the ball dropped and things got a little wild.
